Ad-Aware and Spyware Blaster are great. Spyware Blaster integrates protection into your browser and Ad-Aware scans.

I have never used Comodo Firewall, so I can't comment on that, but yeah, you should be okay as long as your use proper judgement in what you download and where you browse.

anti-spyware? how do you mean ? ad aware scans for spyware and removes it so does spybot, windows defender etc all worth having.

If by anti-spyware you mean to help protect from such things in the first place id recommend:

Spyware blaster (stops hijacking of your browser and blocks spyware):
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

Spyware guard (real time monitoring for suspicious behaviour):
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html

Winpatrol (real time monitoring of registry changes and suspicious behaviour):
http://www.winpatrol.com/download.html

Although even though these programs can stop spyware, It is worth having these spyware scanners:

Ad aware SE:

Spybot:

Advanced Spyware Remover:

Windows Defender Beta 2 (need real copy of windows to work)
