Adware attack!

I have been having a major adware attack. Everytime I use adaware to delete the adware, with a restart of the computer it all comes back. I know there is some kind of trojan downloader that is causing this, but none of my AV programs detect it. What should I do.

I was able to get rid of it temporarily using safemode and hijack this. Hopefully it stays gone this time.

what is the adware doing?
and what is your OS?
