Adobe Hasn’t Fixed Acrobat, Reader Vulnerabilities

Adobe says that it is not sure when a fix will be ready for the critical flaw in its products that could lead to your system being hijacked by hackers. The company hopes to have a fix available by the end of the month.

In an October 5 posting on its Web site, Adobe said the "critical" flaw is incorporated into versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat software, and could allow malicious programs to get on to a PC without the user knowing about it.
