I uninstalled these after a few days of use. Those apps are more of a hassle then they are of help. I'd say 70% of the time when I was going to a site I had to screw around with permissions and click this and that to let it work...just annoying.

It's called security and it is a pain for a reason. yes, you have to give sites permission... without the extensions, sites do whatever whether you want them to or not. Many sites out there are rather malicious, either on purpose or through being hacked. Any protection you can get is that much more between you and it.

Default Calling all firefox Junkies

List your firefox addons, post links, and give a description of what they do for you.

See topic description, provide links if you so choose.

Here's mine:

IETab - Switches the rendering engine from Firefox to Internet Explorer's in case a page doesn't load well with firefox
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

Adblock Plus - Never see an ad again
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

Adblock Plus Filterset G Updater - Automatic Updates for Adblock plus
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1136

Stylish - Customize the look and feel of firefox, incredible and is a must try.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108

Hide Menu Bar - Frees up space and you can just view it by pressing Alt (similar to Internet Explorer)
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4762

Customize Google - Wonderful app that allows you to do anything you want with google
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/743

Firetitle - Customize the Title of your webpage and remove the annoying "Mozilla Firefox" description
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1298

Download Statusbar - Small Effective, Efficient download agent for firefox that just pops up in the status bar instead of a separate window. It's nice and compact.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/26

FEBE - Backup all the addons and settings of your firefox. This is useful for transferring settings to a cleint's PC. Great tool.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2109

That's mine, share yours here.
