| Will this make Firefox faster? FF is running kinda slow lately, I don't think it's related to the new version cause I was having problems with the 2nd version aswell. So... what if I install it to my second hard drive? Will that speed it up any? Thanks
Oh yea, right now FF is using 91,432 K of mem, it that normal? |

| Re: Will this make Firefox faster? no, if by slow you mean loading pages, and downloading, that has nothing to do with you hdd, it is your internet connection. Do u have firefox 3? If so download nightly tester tools, restart firefox, then download the fasterfox extension, force install it and that will speed things up a bit.

| Re: Will this make Firefox faster? Hello,
Along with Luke's suggestion to run Fasterfox i would also suggest Firefox Ultimate Optimizer. Firefox Ultimate Optimizer - Download
That will reduce the amount of memory being used by Firefox. As for the speed. Fasterfox is the best way to make pages load faster.
Cheers,
Mak

Maybe post a hijackthislog in the Virus and spyware section.
