Default viewing php file

Is it possible to view a websites php scripts on the server? I want to actually look at the code for it. Can this be done?

Not sure exactly what you want, but in Firefox... View, Page Source (or just hit CTRL + U).

This only shows HTML that has been sent to the browser.

No, you cannot (legally) view PHP files on servers that you don't own.

If that were the case, no website would be secure.
