Just go through it, it does help make it abit faster but nothing spectacular though!
If i was telling someone to download Firefox id just tell them to use the fasterfox extension, theres not much difference between that and doing all of that in the link anyway

Yes, this does make webpages load faster, but the difference is different from computer to computer. But I can guarantee that the speed is not going to be 10x faster.
