Post Safe to use person's full name in email address?

I am setting up new Gmail addresses for my parents. They would like to know if it would be safe to use their full names for the prefix.
It would be easier for everyone that way, but I didn't know if that would allow a hacker to associate their emails with their real identity in any way.

i.e.
(johndoe@gmail.com)
(janedoe@gmail.com)

What do you think?

Depends on the person. i have email with my full name, and I have email without it. I use the email with my name for "official" stuff.

I would just say First initial and full last name. OR full first name and last inital.

personally i would not use my full name in an email address, it does give away some information about yourself and you don't really want information about yourself on the internet.

I use my first name, and half of my last name for mine.
