Default RSS Feed problems

I use Outlook 07 to subscribe to rss feeds, and I am having problems with one particular one: I subscribe to various Business Week blog feeds, and some of are having problems.

The rss link should look like this:
http://www.businessweek.com/globalbi...pe_insight.rss

But when I click on a new, unread message, it pulls up as only
/globalbiz/blogs/europeinsight/

All it does then is just pull up some stupid wrong website that says its globalbiz.com. Is this a mistake on the part of BW's website, or Outlook? How do I fix it?

Hello,

This should be in the Web Browser of General Internet area.

The answer is that Outlook just uses the feeds right from IE. So make sure you are subscribted to the right feeds in IE and Outlook should then be subscribed right.

Cheers,
Mak

Yeah, I tried re-subscribing to the feeds through IE and it didn't work. It still comes up like that. Outlook opens the "View full article" link through Firefox. Is there a setting to where it opens all feed message through IE? Would that make all the links work?

I did notice something else though. RSS Feeds that don't work look like this:
Europe Insight

Feeds that do in fact work look like this:
BusinessWeek Online -- Blogspotting

Is this then an issue with Businessweek.com? Should I email them about rss feed issues?

Hello,

The only way i know of to have the feeds open in Ie would be to set that as your default browser. I am just guessing but you have Firefox set as default which is why it opens with Firefox.

It could possibly be a issue with their RSS. But have you tried to open IE and put in the direct URL's? See if that helps?

Cheers,
Mak
