Cool Question on firefox

I just switched from internet explorer to firefox, even though most pages display correctly and work great there are others that don't download correctly. I have had some pages where it cuts the pictures and text off at the right of the screen. In internet explorer there is a slide bar that loads at the bottom of the screen so you can move the page sideways, on firefox it does not load. Is there a plugin im missing and if so how do i download it or correct this problem?

One that I noticed is on myspace. Myspace itself loads and looks great, but one of my friends profile pages gets cut off at the right hand side, therefore it might in some cases only show part of the text or picture at the right of the screen sometimes with certain parts of web pages with Firefox. Internet explorer loads verything perfectly, but I don't like using internet explorer because of the security flaws. I have just found that certain pages here and there with firefox dont load right.

Have you tried updating your plugins (Java, Flash, Shockwave, QuickTime, WMP)? You may be missing some.

Also, you can use IE Tab, which opens IE inside Firefox. I use it as a last resort for sites that are IE only.

if you could post a screen shot it would help us to determine what is going on.

Ok, it's working now. I went to the java website and checked to see if i had the latest version, it said i did but i notice now i have a java icon in my task bar that wasn't there before so something must have been missing because after i did this the site now works fine.

I just switched back to IE explorer, started running into other problems with fire fox. In my privacy settings it would not save my options. I would have to reset them whenever i closed and then opened the browser again.

I know IE is not suposed to be *** safe but I have had it since 1997 and never had a problem with it but I am going to buy KeyScrambler Pro that will encrypt every keystroke I type and I am also getting ProxyShell to hide my ip address, anonymous web surffing. These programs with the new internet explorer will be more than enough.

I too had the same problem when i started, but i noticed that it became a history when i started keeping a watch on my firefox, installed all major updates, nearly all required plugins are installed....
I have only heard of user-agent sniffing tactics adopted by some sites,by myspace is not supposed to do such activites
