| I have rescently discovered Bit Torrent and that it is a great source to get up to date with the some of the comic books that I am having problems getting backissues or trade paper backs for. I have noticed that a lot of the comic books that are downloadible from the Bit Torrent network are in rather large volume of about 50 issues, and at a size of about 350Mb. As you can see below I have 2 computer. PYZCHOB!+C# is my main computer that has been geared up to run silently. Where as SUPERSONICB!+C# is my newer, but slower computer that is still currently kicking the PSU that came with the case in the first place. I would prefer to be using SUPERSONICB!+C# for all my redundant task like downloading, playing MP3/DivX/DVDs, monitoring email / ICQ while playing a game. But the problem is that I really don't like the fact that the PSU and the CPU FAN sounds like a jet engine at night. And I will not be in a financail position to afford a quietier CPU FAN or PSU for at least 1 to 2 months time. As for PYZCHOB!+C#, it is my faster machine, but i really don't want to be Bit Torrenting from that when I have other things that I am doing on it. Especially if I have do reboot or some else. However, it is the quieter of the 2 machines. And to top it all off, some of these downloads take about 24 hours to download. About 7 of those are when i am (trying) sleeping. Question, is there any way that I can transfer and resume the downloads from Bit Torrent from one machine to the other, and then back again.? (I would like to sleep in my bed tonight as appose to the sofa)

| Junior Techie | No, not to my knowledge, and not easily. You might want to try www.kontiki.com. They have something that will accelerate downloads, by opening up multiple connections, searching for mirrors, and getting p2p or something... It also allows for resuming of downloads, but not from different computers. I had a version of the software that I downloaded for free from www.gamespot.com a LONG time ago; I doubt it's still there.

| I was playing around with it and I noticed that bit torren does has some sort of resume function. (which is good because the current set of comics I am downloading is going to be about 250 hours)
