| I noticed when I was using Opera for a download that it maintained around 2.9kbs as to IE6's total drop from 2.9kbs to a crawling sometimes .8kbs. Opera maintained the 2.9 throughout the download IE forget about it. As far as Mozilla 1.6 version it is an improvement to the 1.5 but still was more effective as to downloading than IE6 it averaged around 2.9kbs as well. Running XP2003, HP Pavilion a305w, 2.7ghz celeron, 256mb DDR SDRAM,40gb Ultra DMA hard drive, not to bad with around 24gigs left over but I have alot of downloaded software I use and graphics some mp3's but a definate difference when using Opera. Could use some advice on tweaking more speed out of the old girl ___________leave some info if you'all can greatly would appreciate it, Hardryve... ![]() |

| Super Techie | well, I use opera and like it but I have to say that I don't think it probably has much to do with the browser, and it's most likely the different websites you're downloading from that would cause a change.
