No sound on java games?

Ive just reinstalled windows xp and installed firefox and the lastest java runtime, and on yahoo pool ive got no sound? my sound works fine otherwise, i can hear music and windows sounds etc, just nothing on yahoo pool? ive got the sound boxed ticked aswell.

any ideas?

just tried I.E 7 and i get no sound on that either

Ive just tried a "flash" game on a flash games website and the sound is working on that on Firefox so it seems to be just on yahoo pool?

Try Reinstalling Your Java or Update it ?

The only thing i havent done is reinstall Java so ill give it a go and let you know how i get on

nope that didnt work, still no sound on yahoo pool

EDIT i fixed it WOOO HOOOO!

I updated my x-fi drivers/audio pack, i didnt think updating that would fix an issue so small as sound in a java game but there you go, it now works so im happy
