Im not sure if this is the correct section, but im having trouble installing java.eveytime i go to download it i get this error message."error applying transforms.Verify that the specified transform paths are valid".Can someone please help me.Thank you

What's your OS, and is did you download it off the Java homepage?

Windows Xp, yes i tried to download it from there and a window popped up and said "error applying transforms.Verify that the specified transform paths are valid".

Try downloading it again, have you done that?

yes but i still get that message.i thought it was my browser so i changed browsers and i still got the same error message.

To me is sounds like there is a problem with windows it's self, I don't know if there is a support area for java on it's home page try there.

i tried looking on there homepage in their help section but i couldnt find anything.So what do you think i should do?.....reboot my computer?
