Japanese Browser Maker Takes on IE, Firefox

The Japanese Sleipnir browser is trying to take on IE and Firefox in hopes of capturing just 5% of the browser market. While it seems unlikely, people said the same about Firefox just a few years ago so who knows?

The Sleipnir browser is well-known among Japanese technophiles, many of whom value the high level of customization that the browser allows. At the center of this customization is the ability to select either the Trident or Gecko layout engines for each Web site visited. Trident was developed by Microsoft Corp. and is used in Internet Explorer while Gecko is used in Mozilla's Firefox.

Default Re: Japanese Browser Maker Takes on IE, Firefox

I downloaded this and installed it. It does run fast. But is still glitchy. At times it freezes the system for a few seconds till it can catch up on what i had clicked on and such.

Overall not a bad browser. But needs more work to be considered a contender.

Big Thanks to Trotter for the HDD. Big Thanks to CarnageX for the Video Card. Big thanks to Saxon, without you none of this would be possible.
