Default Iexplore.exe Running automatically.... Sorta

I'm using XP Pro, and have noticed on a boot/reboot that iexplore is running in the taskmanager, despite me not running it. However, it's 0% use, and when ended, stays off till I reboot.

When I do run IE, another one starts up. Installs bout a month old, and this is my first time with Pro. My other 2 comps run home, and it's not happening with them.

Is it a Pro thing?

Thanks.
