Hi, all. I am not sure if I am in the right forum, but I recently got on the internet. I try to set up an email account with Outlook Express. I didn't do it
correctly. I keep getting a message like the host SMTP could not be
found please vertify that you have entered the servor name correctly.
My question is how do I do correct my mistake? I'm a dinosaur when it comes to the computer.

What is the email Gmail or Hotmail or is it from your ISP?

Like Saxon said before helping you we need to know which email host you're with so we can provide you with the correct server info.

Sorry I took so long I have been away from my computer. My internet provider is bellsouth does that help?

You will have to conatct Bell South to see how their email servers are setup. If it is with SMTP you will have to see if their servers use encryption or protection of any kind. Only they will be able to tell you unless another member of the forums uses that same service.

select bellsouth as your domain and it walks you through step by step. You probably misspelled the smtp server name.
