the points system which allowed me to give out invites was recently taken down...I'm trying to find out how else I get get invites.

I'm a staffer at TM Torque, so obviously I'm gonna recommend it.

I only just want to point out that, we actually do some custom things too not found ANYWHERE else.

I could go on, but I just wanted to point out that some of our content is unique.

As for a lot of the other torrent sites mentioned, there mostly all good, but the prob arrives when you try to get an invite, so my advise would be join a few and "test the water" once you find a couple that you like then you're sure to meet people and maybe get an invite to the better sites.

As with most things, you will need a bit of patience or luck, please respect these sites and if they dont want mentioned in forums such as this, please don't break there rules.

Most sites staff know each other so don't be a bad member on one and expect to get onto another.
