Indeed there is, but although it can happen at anytime, I've yet to encounter a problem.

Hmmm, it seems that this happened after upgrading to 3.0.1. (I had FF3).

Hmm i did not have that issue when i upgraded. But if i did i backup my profile on a regualr basis.

How to backup your Firefox profile, the easy way

Readh thru that. Next time if it happens. Will have a backup.

Thank you, maybe you should add that the Documents and Settings folder is on the C drive, it may not be obvious to the new user, also i had to close FireFox before i could RAR. Other than that, it worked great, thank you.

I will add the part that you cant use Firefox while doing this. But not everyone has Widnows installed on their C Drive.

But i will make note of that as well.
