Firefox Freezing Up!

Ok so as i am searching on the web or typing. Firefox will freeze for 5 seconds than it will continue to work fine but 5 minutes later it freezing again for 5 seconds..

any thoughts?

Check your CPU usage. Just keep Task Manager running and tab to it when it does it. You may need to uninstall/reinstall.

Oh, and your sig is too big. 468 x 120 max. Fix it, or we will.

Google for the Firefox Ultimate Optimizer. That will help limit how much resources your FIrefox uses. I thought you were using Opera now anyways??

ealier i aws typing to a friend on msn and it lagged for a second! only when i was typing tho..

If you have been in the Windows Area you would note that there has been a alarming amount of people reporting about MSN bugs and lags recently. Nothing we can do as it seems it is on Microsoft's end. Probably due to the fact they were gearing their servers up for the IE8 Beta rush.

Ok, firefox is still freezing up! just right now after i was finished typing freez.... And i have to wait like 10 seconds than it happens 1 minuted later. Omg it just happened again after i typed minutes!

lol

getting annoying.. i will try to reinstall it and remove all the files and folders using revo uninstaller!

When its not freezing up, its fairly Fast! and works fine!

OK so. CPU Usage Average = Below 10 But, im watching it as i type. And everytime i type it goes up to about 30 % than if i stop.....

2% now.. oh its 100% and it is now freezing.... and its still at 100% it is freezing right now.... wow now its back at 7 % oh now its rising

and ya you guys get it right??

by the way its now at 100%

Even if i aint doing anything but i have firefox up.. It sometimes goes to 100%

by the way.. other things SOMETIMES freeze when FireFox is up..

well either there's something wrong idk what or you don't have a qx9650.
