Default Firefox 3

When is it supposed to be released? I read a few articles about it already, but is there anyone particularly looking forward to a specific feature?

I like the fact that it uses less rouces finally. The Memory leaks are supposed to be fixed which is great news. I like the new interface as well. When it is to be released....who knows. I have heard rumors that they wanted to release it the same tiem as Ubuntu 8.04 but Firefox fell behind. So who knows when it will hit.

In due time, in due time. Between now and then you can try out the beta builds.

the add ons in ff3 cannot be used.. they have to build it up but the memory usage is lesser than it was... and the graphics is improved(pretty obvious)
but still better to surf on ff2 until everything is sorted out....

As i said in teh other topic. Nightly Tester Tools.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6543

This will allow you to force compatibility of Firefox 2 extensions onto Firefox 3. I have all of my extensions working. Please stop saying that they dont work when they do.

There they are. Firefox 3 Beta 5 with working extensions.

I don't think NTT works for themes.

If you want some skins, try the extension Personas for Firefox.

The Skins wont work. They are done differently. There is only 1 theme that works with Firefox 3 so far. The people who do the skins have to redo them cause the CSS on Firefox 3 is different. That is why you cant jsut force compatibility.
