Default drop down windows

when you've been to a web page site numerous times, when filling out certain information, a drop down window appears with a list of things you have typed in previously. many of these are incorrect, or not needed and just slow down the process of filling in information. how do you ged rid of the ones you don't want in there?

I am assuming that he is using IE since this question is being asked....Once in IE, click tools on the toolbar then click Internet Options. When that loads, you will see tabs across the top click on the one that says Content. Click on the button that reads AutoComplete, which is located at the bottom of this tab. After clicking this button you have several options.

To remove what is there now, click the clear forms.
To prevent saving it all together, uncheck all of those boxes.
