Default Disconnecting from the internet

Hi guys there has been a recent problem with my home's internet. This disconnecting is very frustrating when i'm playing an online game, downloading files and connect to google and other simple tasks. We(my family) have called the company about this problem. They said it might be because of our home security system.
*we got our splitter because our phone is receiving some static or something basically we couldn't hear well through it
Here is a simple diagram of what our internet connection look like right now
____________......._______
|___________|...... |Splitter|=======HomeSecurtity======Phone
|Phone socket|====|_____ |
|___________|.......|______|========Modem===router ====computer

-Our home phone is with telstra
-ADSL and phone splitter from DickSmith
-Modem is belkin model number F5D5730au
-Router is from netgear
How can i resolve this situation where i keep getting disconnected? thanks for any comments.

Default Re: Disconnecting from the internet

You should have a filter for the line, if ADSL is the same (or works the same) as DSL. If a filter is required, it should have been furnished by your ISP.
