Default Demonoid Shut Down

Lawsuits are attacking Demonoid once again...

Demonoid Down

Quote:
Demonoid was the second largest tracker online, after ThePirateBay, and has seen its fair share of legal threats and takedown notices from copyright holders and associated groups. Demonoid shifted operations from The Netherlands to Canada back in June after their previous ISP balked at legal threats, but it appears that Canada is no safer as the likely cause of the downtime now is the Canadian ISP blocking the website.
Let's see how long it takes this time.

man this totally blows. demonoid is the best torrentsite, and probably one of the safest from virus planters and people like the MIAA. i hope to god they get up and running again, ever if not soon.

Well I figured that at first as well but then I found a couple articles (one of them I posted) saying that at first they thought it was a maintenance and then found that news. Hope you're right.

I hop eyou're right as well. I saw it was offline last night, so i figured they had a server crash again (or maintainence), and then a friend told me over MSN that it was something about CRIA going on. But he said that you could still d/l...so I thought that was kind of odd that if they were shut down, the trackers were still working.
