CBC.ca Olympics stream? (HELP!!!)

Hi guys,

I'm not really sure if this thread is in the right place or not but here's my problem. For the life of me I can't seem to access the CBC.ca Olympics stream(s). My version of Windows Media Player can play other videos both online and from my HD just fine but for some reason that stream just doesn't work. I can get the 20 second intro clip to play fine but then my WMP screen just goes bland. I called CBC to complain and they told me "it' s a busy server, leave it open and it will load" .... Now although I have no idea how to build my own PC, I'm not that much of an idiot. Obiviously the stream takes time to load but when none of the steams work and I've been trying to get it to work nonstop for the last five days, something's up.

So, anyone have any ideas? I guess only people in Canada can help me with this question because CBC blocks access to those outside Canada. either waY... HELP!!

Hello,

This is only available to Canada. So i can not test it out and give suggestions. The only thing i can say is try to install a codec pack like Klite to see if that helps resovle the issue. When i tried to load it they said it was not available in your area. I am in NY. So i cant test out if it is a server issur or not.

Thanks, I'll try that. I tried pasting the URL in winamp and playing it but no dice.
