| I am currently cleaning up a computer that refuses to go to a web site when typed into the address bar. But if you type it into the search bar, you go right to it. Using IE. Cleaned up a ton of malware off this thing so that may have caused the problem.

| Well I have tried several different fixes for this. Registry hacks, updates, etc. There is still malware on this thing. Every time I come over to do something I scan and find more crap. I downloaded Firefox and it works well for her. I told her just use it instead of IE until we can figure it out. I may just have her back up everything to CD and format. I hate to do that though. Formatting is a last resort.

| No. But she is an amazing woman. We kind of are in the beginnings of a relationship. You know, the having lunch a lot, talking, email, etc. The "growing the friendship" stage. I want her computer to work right. I'm too OCD to put a band-aid on it like that.
