can't open email attachments

A few people have sent my emails with .eml attachments. I can't view them. What program do I need?

Hello,

There are several things you can try.

Windows XP File Assocation Fixes
Fixing EML File Associations in Outlook Express
Images don't come up in my e mail - Tech Support Forum
OLEXP: Unable to Open EML File Attachments in Outlook Express
Using virus protection features in Outlook Express 6

.eml files are mostly blocked by your Antivirus application. They are blocked bucause they are majorly used for malware. So unless you know the person and trust them enough not to infect your do not disable your Antivirus when you try to view the attachement.

maybe you need more info. I am running Vista. I dont' have outlook (vista uses "windows mail") that's probably the same thing though. I am trying to view from my MSN account or my Gmail account. When I try to open the email the computer asks which program to open the attachment with.

GOT IT! I just saved the files to my computer and i could then just click on them and view them. thanks.
