i do however hae a query
i am relatively new to the internet and not too hot on things technical on computer/internet, i am running windows xp 2nd edition and firefox 3 web browser and uniblue anti spyware/reg boost/optimizer i also have avg 8, i have only recently got this problem, where, when i search or link to another page i keep getting pages from other sites popping up some are adult sites others vary from mobile phone to insurance sites.
how do i stop this from happening
any information/advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated
