on my wireless laptop, none of my applications can access the internet. I do not
recall making any changes to any settings that could have made this occur.

I've tried both IE and FF and triple checked the proxy settings. iTunes,
other applications also cannot access. The wireless connection indicates
signal good and connected.

I disabled Zone Alarm and rebooted with the same results. Also ran the MSFT
TCP/IP stack reset tool to no avail.

Any brainstorming troubleshooting ideas?

What OS are you using? If you're using Vista, then you could be in for a lot of trouble
And before Mak comes in with a vista quote, no it's not vista's fault.
If you're using xp, try totally disabling any firewalls you have, because it might be blocking the outgoing requests from itunes and co.
