Is there any way to disable this popup when i'm on aim? it is VERY annoying. I dont want some AOL security update. How can I disable this? My aim version is the latest (6.5 I believe) plz help me disable this annoying thing, thanks!
Check the options. It should be in there. That or use Gaim or Trillian.

As Mak said, Pidgin (formerly Gaim) or Trillian will do it for you. Plus, it would allow you to use other IM clients at the same time with one buddy list. Not to mention that they are free.
Sadly i do not know. I have not installed AIM in several years and do not wish to isntall it to try and find out. Maybe a google search can help?
