Default Reputation system

I don't like the way the rep system works at the moment. I tried to give some rep to Yamikotai and it said that I had to "spread it around". I almost never give rep (I forget it's there) and the last time I gave Yami rep must have been weeks ago. I know why the protection is there but would it not be better to be time dependant rather than depend on the number of people I have repped in between times.

I agree, though my neutrality in the case may be questionable

But seriously, makes sense.

The easiest answer is to just do like the system requests and spread the Luv around

It was originally set that you had to spread it around to 20 other people, we dumbed it down to 10 because 20 was definitely too much.

I know what you mean, I find myself in a spot sometimes with the 10 people to spread it around to, but I make do

Hah. I just tried to give some rep to patonb (for his good idea) and it did it again. I don't even remember giving paton rep before!

Ahaha nice....... I use to mod a cycling forum, and I'm like you kmote, give reps when for decent info/reasons, and I'd often brun into the issue that some folks deserve more than others..

As a note, edited my post to avoid abuse of the system.

So is this a bad idea, a good idea, or a good idea but impossible to implement?
