This is the current text under the "report post" box

Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.

Members wouldn't report something for no reason and this message may put off well-intentioned members from reporting a post for a different, valid reason.

I never noticed that. Hmmm... I can't find an option for me to change it in the AdminCP, so it is probably a part of the template. I will send a note to Larry to change it.

Got any suggestions as to what should be there? Or just nothing?

But the report function can be used to let us know other things, too.

Maybe it should just have example uses listed? Suck as, "This may be used to alert moderators of situations in need of attention, such as spam, advertising, flaming, or other questionable posts." Something along those lines?

I think we should at least put a small guideline somewhere though. Not in that window but somewhere else.
