| Re: Recommended websites hmmm, not bad. Yep, I'm all for that. The only thing is it's bound to get a lot of posts, at first anyway, so you mods will be pretty busy

| Re: Recommended websites Surely this could work just like the "Recommended software for certain Tasks"
The Mod would keep the first post updated with the Websites under seperate headings for different countries...
And it would make more sense to point people toward a sticky, because, say they posted saying "whats the best online retailer", and their location under their Avatar was "Heaven". No one would know which company to point to, and the whole topic gets bogged down. I clear list (possibly even with store locations to allow easier trade) would make everything much clearer

| Re: Recommended websites The problem with this was that it turned into Spam Central. We got enough problems as is with some of the viral marketers coming in here with there list of sites which they are paid to recommend. They just come down here thinking that Tech-Forums is a Micheal Bay movie oozing with product placements.

| Re: Recommended websites Surely once you have all the big sites for every country listed on the thread.. you could close the thread so people could still read but spammers couldn't spam... and there wouldnt be conflicts.
Then again once you do that.. you might have a couple of people PMing the mods to tell them a site which is better.. |
