| It look slike global hosting offers are gaining more and more popularity and well-known hosts with US-based srevers are now ready to start their datacenters in Europe or Asia as well, this was my conclusion after reading at Serverpoint.com site that they are going to spread their activity to India and provide hosting services from the India-based datacenters along with introduction of .in site. | I think that local companies won't lose any clients as the fact the mostly determines the choice of a host is the necessity to rank well in the local ses. But I agree that the number of global hosting offers is getting bigger and bigger. I'd point out Utropicmedia.net providing reseller and ecommerce hosting services from their USA-, Europe and Asia-based datacenters. |

| I agree, there's quite a tendency for it, say Marblehost.com offer hosting accounts on servers based in the UK and USA, it's definitely a good way to add stability to your website, I mean in case of a DDOS attack in one dc, your site will still be available to visitors if you use two datacenters. |
