Torrent hosting is iffy at best. Unless you become a partner with a Linux distro to host legal downloads the site will be targeted and shut down.

Plus i have to say being hosted in the USA is a dumb move. Here the RIAA and MPAA have full authority to come after you. If the host was based somewhere else it would be much tougher for them to get lawsuits against the service. Being in the USA where they are based. Not good.

Torrent hosting is very tough. As it is know for almost everything illegal new sites pop up and get taken down almost daily.

If you're hosting illegal material on your torrent site, then it will most likely get shut down. If you're hosting legal material on your site (not copyrighted movies/music/software or anything like that), then they can't legally shut you down. Torrent is just like any website, an HTTP site that hosts illegal material can be taken down too, it's just that torrent sites are more likely to be illegal.

But that must be stated in the legal documents of the company, am I right?

What must be stated? That they are shutting you down? No. They can suspend yoru hosting or terminate your account if you violate their TOS.

If they suspend your hosting and you feel you are not in violation of the TOS you must prove it to them. They dont have to prove nothing to you.

The host's documents should contain the resource abuse policy with all the figures stated, so when there's overuse you will know about this.

Will I be able to host a torrent site on a vps from Solidhost.com if they officially say nothing about it in their TOS?
