Default Off-Site Data Backup

I want to know what does Off-Site Data Backup mean?
UtropicMedia.net offers it in their E-Commerce plans and I'd like to know more about that.
Thanks.

Off Site Data Backup is usually a different site to which they take backups so in the event of the main site blowing up or whatever, there will always be another backup somewhere.

For some companies, they have to do this.

It sounds exactly what it says.

Off Site Backup. A backup you do not have on site. So if there was a fire or some kind of massive event that caused your location to go down you would still have a backup of your stuff.

It is stored at a location not where you are. So you can access it whenever you want or where ever you are. But it is not at your main location.

Off-site backup is very useful thing as I see that. Nothing happens to your database if you use this kind of backup. I wonder if this services from UtropicMedia.net free or paid? If it's paid how much does it cost?

I think that it shouldn't be paid. And this is first time I hear about such kind of backup.

I have never tried such kind of backup. I think that such a high level company (UtropicMedia.net) must have such service for free.
Guess it must be convenient. And it's not paid as it is included into the package plan.

Off sight back up is basically a way of ensuring that is there was a problem at there main site they can take the back up to a remote location so you wont lose any data an your uptime isn't effected as bad as it could be.

Off site is a good way of securing your data an if it's offered take it.
