Default How can my friends access my site?

Hi everyone,

i want to know how my friends can access my web site, which is on my HD.

I don't have a static IP.

I am using XP, i have set up IIS.

Is there any way my friends can access my site while i am online.

Any ideas, appreciated.

u need to open ur port 80. Go into ur firewall settings and open it. Then they need to use your IP address to get to ur site. If it is a dynamic ip, u can use programs as DynIP or no-ip to update ur ipaddress, and forward it to a sub domain, or buy a read domain for about 8$ a year, and get it forwared to that domain (ur ip address that is)

I've never used IIS, but I'd say if its configured correctly it'd be http://your.ip.address.here - Depending on your isp you may need to use another port other than 80.

Good luck!
