 |  Hosting a forum??? Iam interested in hosting a forum for my collegemates. I am new to this field. So what should I b knowing beforehand? I also wanna know the entire procedure? And is there any program to make my job easier? .........eagerly waiting for Ur replies.

| I visited the website. It says that it does not offer free web hostiing.

| there are some "free" forum site out there, but, you get what you pay for really. your best bet would be to get a webserver and pay like $5 a month and do it that way, you'll be able to customize your board and stuff whereas many free forum sites will not allow you to do so..

| Here's a site I've paid for the last couple years but not actually run ... it's my son's toy  http://www.ipowerweb.com . We;ve been very happy with what it offers for the money and it's customer service. Plus I only recall once in the last two years that the server has been down |
