hi i am interested in starting a website . . . i was wondering, how much do the "google ads" give you?

i noticed that tech forums has them on the top . . .

It depends, you would be paid per click. You can get at least 3 cents per click, often a bit more. I've seen sites that have made over $100 per month, they obviously have a lot of traffic on their site. Right now with my site I make about 9 cents a day (that's about $2.70 a month, eww). LOL, I know, I can find more than that on the ground everyday, my site is still new, only about 30 unique visitors a day. =S But yeah, hope that gives you an idea of how much you make.
