| Free websites anyone know of any websites that will allow you to make your own website with out the url having (example) freewebs.mysite.com?
I want to make a website for a teacher at school for his academy that he is in charge of (media)
and i want his website url to just have nakoamedia.com or .org or .edu (or what ever web site extention i can get)
i dont want the website hosting it to have their name in it. ( i know it sounds greedy)
so yeah, free by the way  if anyone knows of a site, then please help me out i will give you credit in the site for your help  (bribe)
***Note: This website will NOT be used to make any type of profit for the school/teacher/person making it (me)/ or anyone else.

| Re: Free websites I don't believe this is possible. In order to get <yournamehere>.com / .org / .whatever, you would need to register the domain name, which costs money. You would also need somewhere to serve the webpage from, again, costing... Your only free option (to my knowledge) is going to have to be through angelfire, or geocities, or whoever else does free hosting now....
I have my own webpage that I host from home, and I have a free dynamic DNS service, and it is <mysite>.no-ip.org .... but that again has their name in it, but it is a FREE option, if you can host it from home... |

| Re: Free websites Microsoft Office Live Basics is free, and I think they offer a free domain name, although I havn't checked it out... | Re: Free websites Well, freedomain.co.nr offer something like (hawk12.co.nr or tech-forums.co.nr) as long as you link back to .co.nr with a small ad on your page. |
