Default cPanel and a second domain

I host a website with cPanel. Can I just buy a new domain and host a second site also using cPanel?

Depends on your web hosting scenario are you on shared hosting, Dedicated or Virtual Dedicated?

Sorry, I am pretty new to the web hosting world and don't have the slightest idea what you mean by dedicated or virtual dedicated. How would I find this out?

Hmm, so after poking around in cPanel options...I can add a new parked domain...I just have to direct it to their DNS servers...any clue how to do this?

Who is your host?

Usually they will have a help section that will list their DNS servers. Then you just need to go to the registrar's website and point that domain to those DNS servers. If you registered the domain through the existing host then you should have that option through your cPanel.
