Please test free hosting idea for me!

OK, so I needed to host a bunch of files and stuff, but there is no way I am going to pay or anything, don't need to host anything that badly.

Anyhow, I thought that perhaps I can do something with Gmail for free hosting, ie. email it to myself, then copy the link location.

Please try this for me, and report back!

Do you have Comcast? If so, go to ftp://upload.comcast.net and upload them, then the adress to your files would be like: http://yanbooth.home.comcast.net/filename.jpg

Why not buy a domain name and forward it to whatever the URL is of your free hosting?

Then don't expect to find a good host.... some crappy but free ones are geocities and fcpages.com

www.dyndns.org

Its free and you can point it at your own webserver running on your own computer... there is software to update the dns whenever your ip changes as well.
