Specific clicks would be of more benefit. But also general clicks will help out as well. I think that having Tags and Keywords would help greatly. As they are used in searches more. A general click would help for those generic searches.

They check the IP that your ISP provies. The one in which you use to access the internet. Not the one that you use to access your router. Going thru a Proxy to access Google and clicking might work. As i already stated. You need new unique IP's. You can not access Google everytime and think it will help your rating.

You can not modify it at all. You can view it easily. Google for Whatismyip. that will tell you your IP. But there is no way to modify it. That is the IP assigned to you from the ISP the one leaving your house and going to the hub and out to the world.

You could check it manually form the command prompt. IPconfig is the command. But if you are behind a router it shoudl show that setting not your actual IP. I dont understand what you mean by the hqhost.net comment. Your IP is what is provided by your ISP. Even going thru a proxy there are still ways for it to be traced back to you and your account with the ISP. But that is where it stops. Unless some place has a court order they can not get anymore information about that IP other than what some sites provied. Most of the sites i have seen give the IP, City and State and Provider of any given ISP. Without a court order i can not get anymore information than that on any given IP i enter into a site. Sites claim that they can hide your IP from the outside world. Some claim to mask it or whatever. It is al a hoax. IT hides your Computer IP. Not your IP provided by the ISP. That can only be changed by your ISP. Not anything you can do. Proxies are the only way to somewhat hide your IP from the world. As you go thru them to gain access to the general net. But a good peron knows how to trace even that back thru the Proxy. Also yes there are even more indepth ways and there are even some ways to truly hide your IP. But that is hardcore. That is the hacker stuff you see on TV. That is going thru multiple proxies and erasing your tracts stuff.
