Question How To List My New Website

Hi,
After finally getting the time to create a website, it is now done. All I'd like to know is how can I list my website in the search engines.

If anyone knows any websites where I can list mine please provide a link and I will be very greatful.

Thanks,

Rob

Also do some link exchanges to relavent sites to yours and use keywords that describe your site for the anchor text when doing link exchanges.

Also submit your site to the DMoz.org directory.

most websites have sections on them where you can add yourself to their directorys, but these can take a long long time to be processed. for quicker listings download some programs which will add you to multiple search engines automatically such as http://www.addme.com like TheMajor said above. although a lot of them if not all charge for the service.

This whole site-promotion thing is a big issue.
Look for articles about it at google...

I'm sure you'll find plenty of them...
