IMO, i think it's too dark, color light-blue, and dark-blue, instead of darker blue and black.

looks good to me,
in fact, this is the first time in a while I have seen someone use a cursive style font
I suggest makeing the core duo logo a bit more opac, maybe an outer glow on it...
opinion: might make a border or something...

Edit: you said make it more opaue but i used the multiply blend mode to get rid of the white space how would you get rid of the white space wuthout using the multiply blend mode.

white space?
inside or out?
if it's on the outside, use the magic want tool and cut it off, or use the pen tool to trace around it for a smoother selection

this one
changes made: bevel and embosss.
cut out logo lowerd opacity rather than using multiply blend mode
