Default Web Design for the blind?

I'm looking into web design for the blind and wanted to see if anyone knew of any good sites geared toward the blind. I'm not blind myself and I'm trying to get an idea of what would be considered a good layout. I'm looking for JAWS compatible websites.

I appreciate any input. Thanks.

Well this site is also going to be accessible by those who can see. It is going to be text-based though.

yeah I've just begun lookin within the last day or two. The project is new to me but I just wanted to see anyone knew of any sites that went into what layouts tend to work best. Tomorrow I have a meeting with a blind woman who is helping us out.

Thanks.

People who are partially and fully blind usually have a reader program for using a computer that reads text on their screen, so if I were you I would look up any companies that make that sort of software, learn how they work, and devise a schema for making your site easy to read accordingly.
