using a link to run windows media player

Hello everyone. I hope maybe someone might have an answer to this question.

I want to put a link on my web page that when clicked on would start Window Media Player and run the url http://ChuckBaker.gotdns.org:3306

I can do this in the run box by typing "wmplayer http://chuckbaker.gotdns.org:3306" but I can't get it to work on a web page.

I would try to just insert a hyperlink, with a path to get to the movie you are trying to post up. Might not help, but hopefully it will!

Well I am not trying to start a movie. What I am trying to do is use a link on my website to start WMP and go to a live video feed using Windows Media Encoder.
