Default Small Firefox Icons

I'm sure most of you have noticed that when viewing websites on Mozilla Firefox, to the left of the actual URL in the address bar there is a small icon (for example, on this website, it's a v on a yellow background, on msn its a butterfly, etc.) i was wondering if there was any way to create these, and if so, how to code it. if im in the wrong forum, feel free to move this thread. thank you!
