Default resizing pics

does anyone know how to resize the pixels of a picture? i took pictures using my digicam at 4 megapixels and stored them in my pc. attaching them to emails and sending them over the internet takes a lifetime because of the huge size. how do i resize the pics to 1 megapixel?

thanks.

You might check out ImRe or PictureGirdle. They are both freeware applications for just resizing an image. If you want something that can do more you should check out a graphical editor like Photofiltre or The GIMP.
