| Banned | My digital camera (Polaroid i532) has a 3X optical zoom. But if I look close up at the zoom, it says "3X Optical Zoom Lens". Then, in very small writing at the bottom, it says: "5.95-17.14mm F2.8-4.8" What do those numbers mean? The amount of MM that the optical lens zooms in and out, and the focus rate? |

| 5.95-17.14mm is the Field of View (zoom range) F2.8-F4.8 is the change in aperture at wide to telephoto in the zoom lens. 2.8 lets more light in while F4.8 lets less light in.
